The popular Twilight Runway Challenge returns on Saturday 17th September, encouraging people of all ages to get active whilst helping to raise money for a charitable cause in the local community. Participants can run, walk, cycle, scoot or skateboard along 3km, 5km or 10km of the airstrip of Blackbushe Airport. They can either take part for fun or raise funds for a local charity or school of their choice.
Organised by CMPP, this unique event attracts a wide variety of participants, from people looking to get fit, beating a personal best or having fun with friends, family or colleagues.
Tracy Jarvis (Founder of CMPP) states “CMPP is all about community and collaboration, and our Twilight Runway Challenge embodies this. We are proud that this flagship fundraising event helps to raise vital funds for charities across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire. Last year the event helped to raise over £38,000 for local charitable causes and we are hoping to raise even more this year”.
The event would not be possible without the generous support from businesses as sponsors, which helps to cover the event costs and enables 100% of fundraising to go to local causes. Headline sponsors for 2022 include -
